Tucker Fiddles
Country

Meet Tucker Fiddles, a unique voice in country music emerging from the backwoods of southeastern Virginia. The youngest of a boisterous family of thirteen, Tucker has his roots firmly planted in the infamous Hatfield (his pa) and McCoy (his ma) feuding legacies.  To this day, local officials are still called to the Hatfield family farm to break up fights at the dinner table.

Opting out of the spotlight early on, Tucker is agoraphobic and excessively shy.  At a young age, he sought to simplify his life by dropping his famous last name for his two given names, Tucker Fiddles, leaving behind the infamous family feud for an anonymous and quieter existence.

Tucker’s musical journey began in an unconventional setting—without shoes, playing banjo, guitar, and fiddle for an audience of chickens at night.  This quirky beginning led to an unexpected boon: his nighttime serenades massively and inexplicably boosted egg production the next morning, eventually financing his first pair of shoes and even a new family truck.

However, Tucker’s road to music stardom wasn’t without its bumps. A bizarre accident – he swallowed a mouth harp that required emergency surgery — almost ended his music career before it got started.  Instead, it crafted his distinctive vocal style. The incident left him with a signature twang and a unique set of harmonic overtones in his speaking voice, now recognized as the hallmark of his musical persona.  Yet, this anomaly further deepened his reluctance to be seen or to speak in public.

Tucker’s debut single, “Son of A Gun,” explores his colorful family history with a narrative flair, while his follow-up, “Chosen One,” mixes humor with country and gospel elements, showcasing his versatility and wit.

Despite his growing fame, Tucker maintains a reclusive lifestyle, rarely showing his face outside family circles and never in public.  This air of mystery adds to his allure, drawing fans to his music, eager for a glimpse into the life of this modern-day country music troubadour and oddity.

ConfuZion
Rock,Fusion, Retro

ConfuZion is a new rock fusion band that has been shaking up the music scene with their edgy and hip sound. The ensemble of five is based in Virginia.  Their music blends rock, jazz, and retro pop in a way that leave you feeling electrified and nostalgic at the same time.

Lead singer, Lenore, was born in the Bronx, but she spent most of her childhood traveling with her artist parents. Her free-spirited attitude is reflected in her powerful voice, which is electrified by her thrilling stage presence. On drums, talented Tracy is also the band’s resident jazz connoisseur and multi-instrumentalist.  His percussion in the “Crushing On You” turns heads.  Can you guess the time signature?

Dragan, our bass and guitar player, hails from Bosnia. His technical precision and introspective nature is reflected in his playing, which artfully weaves together the many genres from which ConfuZion draws inspiration.  Ronny D, a Floridian and former Disney cast member, plays synth.  His sunny disposition (pun intended) and goofy (pun also intended) sense of humor is infectious.  Rounding out the group is Jon, an upstate New Yorker and our lead male vocalist, guitarist and songwriter.

Together, the band has a dedication and urgency to live life. As Lenore says, “Just do it”, which pretty much sums up the attitude of these five incredible performers. Their music is unique and transformative.

The GroovZ
Retro Pop

The Groovz formed in college after sophomores Jake, Ryan, and Max, met in music class and discovered their shared love of the music of the 60s and 70s. They soon recruited female friends, Lucy and Maya, who contributed  their soulful voices and a shared passion for old-school pop.

Jake, the lead guitarist and vocalist, is the driving force behind the group’s sound, inspired by classic musicians like the Beatles,  Turtles,  Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton.  Ryan, the drummer, brings a steady, funky back beat to the mix. Max sings backup vocals and plays keyboard, while Lucy’s powerhouse voice leads the group’s harmonies. Maya, the bassist, keeps the group’s rhythm grounded and centered.

The Groovz music reflect their happy, danceable vibe. They’re excited to share their love of retro pop with the world and bring back an updated sound to the music scene.

Domo & Friends
R & B, Neo Soul , Pop

Led by the exceptional vocalist Domonique Nelson,  Domo & Friends brings together diverse set of musicians with a shared passion for creating extraordinary music that cannot be easily categorized.

Domo comes from a musical family and her journey as vocalist took root at an early age.  With a profound love for gospel music, Domo was just three when she began singing for the church choir.   At thirteen, she was discovered by a nationally-known music producer who exposed her to a wide range of musical genres beyond gospel and rhythm and blues.  As she honed her craft, her vision for Domo & Friends began to take shape.

Domo & Friends create a sound that defies traditional boundaries, weaving together influences from gospel, rhythm and blues, neosoul, and beyond.  She and her collaborators are now reaching into other genres like country (e.g. So Amazing), retro pop (e.g. Fantasy), offering a fresh sound to a whole new set of listeners.

Despite her newfound success, Domo still hasn’t strayed far from her roots.  Every Sunday you can still find her leading the church choir.  Amen to that.

Paul Wilson
Soft Rock

From the golden shores of San Diego, where the waves craft the rhythm of the soul, emerges Paul Wilson—a vocalist whose harmonies echo the legacy of the legendary Carl Wilson. A distant kin of the illustrious Beach Boy Wilson family, Paul’s voice carries the warmth of the California sun and the depth of the Pacific.

Paul’s life has been a symphony of passions. As a young boy, he found solace in the embrace of the ocean, riding the surf with the same grace that he would later bring to the stage. The roar of muscle cars filled the air as he cruised the coastal highways, the engines’ rumble a prelude to the powerful notes he would one day unleash.

In the kitchen, Paul is a maestro of flavors, wielding his culinary baton to orchestrate dishes that sing with taste. Greek, Indian, Asian—no cuisine is beyond the reach of his intuitive artistry. Give him a melody of ingredients, and he’ll compose a gastronomic masterpiece that dances on the palate.

Paul’s musical journey began with a local band, where he honed his craft amidst the vibrant Southern California scene. His talent undeniable, it wasn’t long before the solo spotlight beckoned. As a solo artist, Paul has garnered acclaim for his voice that weaves intricate harmonies and exudes pure musicality. His fingers dance across the keyboards, each note a testament to his artistic spirit.

Wilson is a musical artist who not only sings the tunes but also reflects the feelings in the stories behind them. Listen closely, and you’ll hear the echoes of lives richly lived.

Jonan
Protest, Folk

The Mountain Valley Pipeline is a proposed natural gas pipeline that stretches over 300 miles from West Virginia to Virginia.

The construction of the pipeline will disrupt the ecosystem and natural habitats, and deprive communities of their fundamental rights to clean air, water, and public safety. Numerous families and their properties will be affected by the pipeline, and many have already protested against the project.

Protest songs are a powerful tool in fighting injustice because they raise awareness and can correct power imbalances.  An excellent example of this is Jonan’s protest song against Dominion Energy’s Atlantic Coast Pipeline.  The song was written in 2016.  That pipeline was ultimately cancelled because of public pushback.

But,  years later, the Mountain Valley Pipeline is still in play.  It was just given the green light by Congress in the recent budget compromise bill.  It’s never too late to fight.
